Vacant Positions:

• Management Sciences: Specializations in Accounting, Applied Economics, Finance, Marketing, or Digital Marketing.
• Humanities: Specialization in Sociology.
• Engineering Sciences: Specialization in Applied Mathematics.
• Civil Engineering: Expertise in Construction Management, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Computer Vision, Geotechnical Engineering, and Computational Structural Engineering.
• Mechanical Engineering: Focus on Applied Mechanics, Design, and Mechatronics.
• Materials Science and Engineering: Focus on  Nanotechnology, Nano-Materials, Materials Science, and Manufacturing.

Qualifications and Experience for Key Positions

Faculty Roles

• Associate Professor:
  • PhD in the relevant specification from an HEC-recognized university.
  • 5 years of experience as an Assistant Professor post-PhD.
  • At least 10 research publications, with 4 in impact factor journals within the past 5 years.
  • Industrial experience at an internationally reputable organization may count as research or teaching experience.
  • Proven ability to conduct independent, original research.
• Assistant Professor:
  • PhD in the relevant specification from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Preferably some publications in international journals.
  • Ability to conduct independent research.
• Lecturer:
  • Master’s degree in the relevant specification from an HEC-recognized university.
  • No third division in the academic record.

Administrative and Support Roles

• Director Procurement:
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, preferably in Supply Chain Management or Finance.
  • 12 years of experience in procurement (local and international) within a government, semi-government, or reputed private organization.
  • Strong computer and communication skills and knowledge of tax and customs regulations.
• Deputy Director (Admissions):
  • B.Sc. in Engineering, or M.Sc./M.A. in Social or Administrative Sciences.
  • At least 5 years of experience in admissions or examinations in an academic institution.
  • Familiarity with semester and credit-hour systems, examination schedules, and Learning Management Systems.
• Assistant Director (Incubation Center):
  • Master’s degree (16 years of education) in Engineering, Technology, Entrepreneurship, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in tech startups, industry connections, and knowledge of venture funding.
  • Strong management and communication skills.
• Staff Officer to the Rector:
  • Master’s degree in Business or Public Administration, Administrative or Social Sciences.
  • 2 years of experience in roles like transport management, estate management, or general administration.
  • Excellent computer and communication skills.
• Lab Engineer (Computer Science & Engineering):
  • BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering, specializing in AI, Data Science, or Parallel Programming.
  • Candidates with teaching or research experience will be preferred.
• Materials Engineer:
  • BE/BS in Materials Engineering with first division.
  • Candidates with teaching or research experience will be preferred.
• Lab Engineer, Electrical Engineering:
  • BE/BS in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  • Experience in fields like Digital Design, Embedded Systems, Electrical Machines, Robotics, Autonomous Systems, or Power Systems is preferred.
• Sports Officer:
  • B.Sc./M.Sc. in Health & Physical Education.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with preference for candidates with national sports credentials.
  • Physical fitness required, with a maximum age of 40.
• Lab Technician (Computer Science & Engineering):
  • First-class DAE in Computer Science/Electronics with 3 years of experience or a BS in IT/Computer Science/Electronics with relevant skills.
  • Knowledge of Linux/Windows, virtual machines, and electronics repair is ideal.
• Pharmacy Assistant:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) with 3 years of relevant experience in a government or private hospital.
  • Proficiency with computers and MS Windows.
• Office Assistant (Admissions):
  • Graduate degree.
  • Experience in administrative tasks (e.g., noting, drafting, filing) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of word processing is essential.
• Nurse (GIK Medical Centre):
  • Nursing diploma with 3 years of experience in operating theaters or emergency care in a reputable hospital.
• Lady Health Visitor (LHV):
  • LHV diploma with 2 years of post-qualification experience.
• Fireman:
  • FA/F.Sc. with 2 years of experience in fire services within an industrial or educational setting.
  • Fireman and Safety training from the Civil Defense Institute is required.
