Educational Qualifications:
- Minimum Requirement: Graduation (or equivalent), preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or a related field from a recognized local or international university.
- Preferred: Candidates with a Master’s degree or those with an Islamic Banking Certification or a diploma (NIBAF) will have an advantage.
Experience Required:
- Candidates should have at least 3 to 5 years of experience, ideally in a similar role, such as a Relationship Manager or Corporate Banking Manager, especially in asset management.
- Experience in corporate credit, profit and loss analysis, and portfolio management is preferred.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage a corporate banking portfolio by building strong relationships with customers and assessing their needs.
- Assess and manage credit applications and portfolios by conducting periodic evaluations and ensuring compliance with credit policies.
- Coordinate with various departments like Shariah Compliance, Risk Management, and Auditors to ensure proper documentation and regulatory compliance.
- Work with external and internal parties, such as auditors and legal consultants, to resolve issues and improve portfolio performance.
- Analyze market trends and customer data to propose necessary actions and adjustments.
- Prepare documentation, including credit proposals and related memos, based on the bank’s guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with internal policies and ensure timely responses to queries from higher management.
- Take remedial actions to minimize risks and protect the bank’s interests in line with the credit policies.
