Selection Criteria

• Eligibility Requirements:
  • Completion of FCPS Part-I in General Surgery or Medicine.
  • Completion of two years of training in General Surgery or Medicine.
• Shortlisting Process:
  • Applicants will be shortlisted and invited for an interview conducted by a selection panel.
• Approval:
  • Final selection and the commencement of training are contingent upon approval from the relevant authorities.
• Salary Policy:
  • Candidates already employed in government positions will follow the same selection process but will not qualify for the honorarium.

• A typed application addressed to the Commandant, AFIU Rawalpindi.
• Copy of CNIC.
• Detailed mark sheets and certificates for Matric and FSc.
• MBBS degree and detailed marks certificate (DMC) for each professional year.
• Valid PMDC/PMC registration certificate.
• House job completion certificate.
• FCPS Part-I passing certificate.
• Police verification report.
• Certificate confirming experience in General Surgery/Medicine training.
• Five (5) recent passport-sized photographs.
