The University of Gujrat UOG Jobs is offering research assistant positions for a project funded by the HEC’s National Research Program for Universities NRPU on a contract basis for 12 months, can be extended on performance. This job opening is for Hafiz Hayat campus of the university.

The project focuses on developing advanced coating materials for bioelectrochemical systems to improve wastewater treatment and electricity generation. This is a great opportunity for chemistry students to gain hands-on research experience while contributing to an impactful scientific project. Vacant Positions:

The following positions are available:

1. Research Assistant (PhD Student – Chemistry)
2. Research Assistant (MS/MPhil Student – Chemistry)

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for these positions, candidates must:

• Be currently enrolled in a PhD or MS/MPhil program in Chemistry.
• Have a strong understanding of scientific research tools and methodologies.
• Preference will be given to applicants with experience in electrochemical research or materials science. 
• Candidates must be willing to participate in regular meetings, prepare reports, and assist in administrative and research tasks.

• Shortlisted candidates by the university will be called for an interview.
